Returning home from sunny San Diego, Rissa J. brings an abundance of expertise without a hint of pretension. Her journey began as an apprentice under the artistic director of Paul Mitchell, where she cultivated her skills and artistry. Rissa's career then led her to become a senior stylist at Southern California's most prestigious salon, Hyde-Edwards, and later to the opening of her own salon, Salon on 30th.
Throughout her exciting career, Rissa developed a genuine passion for teaching, serving as a national educator for hair extensions and an artist and educator for Kerastase Paris.
Beyond her extensive experience as a stylist, educator, and salon owner, Rissa has graced the stages of New York Fashion Week, collaborating with renowned designers such as Jason Wu, Jill Stuart, Creatures of the Wind, Suno, Zac Posen, Elle Magazine, Altuzarra, Rodarte, Thakoon, Bridal NYFW, Carolina Herrera, Ramona, and Monique Lhullier.
The hallmark of Rissa's artistry lies in her dedication to enhancing natural beauty with an infusion of chic sophistication. With great excitement, she returns to her home state of Idaho, eager to help her clients craft a unique image that reflects their true and natural beauty.
